That seems to pretty much nail it all down. Few little details left if anyone has some input... These entries appear in HJT after the clean install. Any idea why or how to prevent them? Perhaps a regfile run on first boot that deletes them as a work around but... O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\Run: [KB976002...

This is a known issue and written in the first post of the thread hosting the file over at Siginet's forums. Known issues: 1) For best results, integrate this addon AFTER nLite and with RVMI and separately from any updatepack integration to ensure all files are edited properly. nLite will not integ...

Pretty much everything is working fine if I skip nlite. Still an error from MBAM, but perhaps the update will fix that. Driverpacks work, unattended works, MultiOEM works.. Just need to get my tweaks from nlite in my disc somehow. Would also like to pre-complete the first run wizard on IE8 if possib...

How to do this with Integrator?
It seems so far that Nlite is breaking my ua cd. I haven't tested all the steps in between yet but initially it works (after integrator) and at the end it doesn't. This is my procedure: Clean SP3 Source 1) Integrator to add: -OnePiece Post SP3 -Adobe Reader Addon -RS OpenOffice Addon -Avast Addon -B...

I'm trying to make my updated vista discs and I'm having trouble figuring out which updates to download and from where. Is there a list anywhere of which updates to download? Furthermore I would ultimately like to have one disc with all the Vista Version, all Updated. Vista Home Basic, Home Premium,...

I spent quite a while on this before. The failing to install is because it thinks it's already installed, but there is one subcomponent that isn't. If I remember right you can extract the rollup, do just that one hotfix, and then it'll disappear. The more complete fix I eventually hit upon was to g...

I've been trying to get my MCE 2005 disc updated. But no matter what source I start with SP2 OEM (with TechNet SP3 Slipstream) or Dell MCE 2005 with Rollup 2 (and TechNet Slipstream) Rollup 2 show up in Windows Update and fails to install. I believe this is the relevant section of WindowsUpdate.log ...

Tablet Edition?
I'm in the process of making all new updated CDs and was wondering if there is anything special that need be done for the Tablet edition? I know with MCE you have to get the extra steps to integrate SP3. However, my Tablet CD's are actually labeled as Pro Retail CDs so can I just combine the cds, st...

First off, thanks for the quick fix of the script addon. I've started from scratch again with the new winscript pack and still getting the same errors. I used the last session presets from nlite so refer to previous post for that. Win2k SP4 Source -> Nlite -> Driverpacks is all that was done. I get ...
