yah- powarc is nice.
New version needs key of course.
you can still find it at 'last freeware version'. I use freeware when posible.

Tugzip is one I overlooked for awhile... It has never been outdone in any of my compression tests, tight as any.

hey! cab tool may tell you 'invalid selection' IZarch is crap. It wont add the .ini, only the folder... I've tried 'em all. one word: TUGZip! You can run the Alcohol 120 .msi directly:

msiecex /i setup.msi /qn

or for 7zip sfx, add msistub and do config.txt as:

;!@Install@!UTF-8!
RunProgram="msistub setup.msi /qn"
;!@InstallEnd@!

The .msi can be modded to contain you reg info using Adminstudio or wininstall

Here's an idea:

no nlite...no ploblem...you are correct sir.

I'm no longer using nlite as I have simple batches to remove only what I want removed, I'm sure I'll look to it again, but I like knowing how things work. If I have to take a little extra time to get my install the way I like, so be it.

Context entries are not funtioning right w/7zip. Foxit cannot be slipped...
Apps are installed silently which is not slipstreaming.
just make the thing into a silent installer and throw it in the mix!
...use innosetup if you like to repackage.

SFC 1.0 actually will cause various problems w/system and disable other addons...not sure why, but this happened bunch of times 'til I figured this out and removed it from my integration folder, too bad.

SFC 1.0 addon causing others to fail, etc.

SFC addon caused all others but Vista to fail to install...again and again... (BTW, that Vista addon is oh so dope, 1st version working best for me) I'm leaving this one alone! Advise the same to others. I use nlite as well, and while I do most tweaking via my own reg files, I'm letting nlite (999b)...

I've noticed that when using the new RVM pack, I'm getting this odd delay right after 'prees any key to boot' message at the start of setup.

oh, nevermind, look where i am, i must have a problem, right ryan?
