Switches for EditPlus?

Hi,

Anyone know the switches used to install EditPlus silently? http://editplus.com

It creates a remove.exe for uninstallation. I don't know what kind of installer this is.

Thanks

easy question on making simple update pack

Hi, I have a program that has no installer. It's just two files (an exe and a dll). It can be installed simply by copying to \\program files\<new dir> and creating shortcuts in the Start Menu. Should I bother making this an update pack or is it better to use $OEM$ with RunOnceEx? thanks, clever swine

the older addon is not compatible with RVMi 1.5 I think. MrNxDmX clearly states that version doesn't work with 1.51, you need the newer version. I used IE7addon 1.09a and RvmI 1.51 (not 1.5) Guys, it turns out I did use 1.5.1, not 1.5. I was going by the version in Integrator's titlebar (that says ...

Hi,

I downloaded NR_IE7en_Addon_1.0.9a.7z (NOT the alternate version) and specified it as an AddonPack in Integrator 1.5. Is that correct? It's not an UpdatePack, right? It didn't work; IE7 didn't install even though other addons did. What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Well that depends on what you're going to do with it. Are you going to be slipstreaming any apps that require .net 2.0? If so, then you will have to do it in two seperate steps because as of now, you cannot install .net 3.x until after windows is done setting up (after the second reboot). I thought...

Well, I don't entirely understand your English (in this thread and others) Perhaps English isn't your first language. but you should know that Firefox creates a "profile directory" in the home directory; e.g., C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox. I imagine you'll need...

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/900871 I prefer method 1. Instead of just copying the i386 directory to the hard disk I would copy the whole cd. After copying the whole CD to the hard disk, and integrating SP2. I would make an ISO using nLite or RVMIntegrator and burn it. This way you have an XP cd...

The Integrator can do the slipstream for you. Yeah, I have everything copied to hard disk. I have Ryan's integrator running and went through his tutorial. I don't see how to do it with the integrator. I can browse to the original source xp I386, but where do I tell the integrator about SP2's i386 d...

WMP 11 and IE7 slipstreams

I've been poking around the site for the last couple days and can find hide nor hair of WMP11 and IE7 slipstreams or add-on downloads, even though I've seen them referenced in forum posts.

Can someone tell me how to find these two for download?

Yes, in fact I did... that's how I got the download. Probably after downloading I went to the page with the screenshot and, not seeing it, was confused about which page I was on... just assumed it had been forgotten. Sorry for wasting your time, but I'd be surprised if I were the only one who had th...

2.2.1 and XP SP2

Hi,

I have Windows XP (without SP2) and SP2 as two separate Microsoft CDs, and now I have the 2.2.1 7z file. In order to integrate SP2 into base CD with 2.2.1, do I need to make my own update pack for SP2? Or does 2.2.1 contain everything for SP2 already?

Thanks for any help!

MD5 Sum for version 2.2.1?

Hi,

Can someone please post an MD5 or SHA-1 hash for the 2.2.1 download? I retrieved it from a mirror and want to make sure it's legit.

Thanks in advance.
