nonno fabio@ Sure thing if you think it will help.. UPDATE: Clean xp sp3 base image with update pack 1.6.0 and this months critical updates minus KB956390 and KB956391 which i forgot. Still the information entries in the event log but msi installs work. Will add more and get back to you. Edit: KB942...

I get the error on first login. ie Fresh install. As the user logs in you get the error then once OK is clicked the rest of desktop loads and you can use the machine as normal.

Is anyone else seeing an error when logging in as a restricted user like this.

Setting up personalized settings for:

Microsoft Windows Media player


Error:
Installation failed.

I guess its related to the media player fix/problems
