When I finally got in touch with the Church of Scientology (who owns it) OT: OMFG! I thought you were joking, but it's true! LOL, I don't know why I find that extremely funny. I'll probably get in trouble for saying that though, seeing as to how they'll be ruling the wolrd pretty soon (with it bein...

Well, I did a bunch of testing and I'm even more confused. If I only do Ryan's update I don't get the error. If I add even one extrememly simple addon ( mine ) then I get the error. I compared the two directories and save obvious changes to DOSNET.INF and TXTSETUP.SIF their contents are technically ...

My test last night with just the Update Pack and nothing else gave me a good install (no error message). I'll try to nar...

Strange error, "software for Battery has not passed Win

Has anyone ever seen this error message: http://i1.tinypic.com/rvhzc0.png I got it today on VMware with a new image I'm trying to build. I'm using a Windows XP Pro Corp. disc vs. my usual XP Pro Retail (doing a little project for work). At first I was going to blame nLite but the error is there just...

Both MD5 and SHA1 have been broken. A while ago and by the same team, no less. But RogueSpear is right, the fact that they were is irrelevant here since the hashes posted here are used for file integrity verification, not crytography. Heck, good ol' CRC(32) would be plenty for this purpose but MD[4/...

[Release] Win32Pad Pack Addon

I always replace MS Notepad with Win32Pad on all my machines because all I want is a very simple text viewer that supports UNIX/MAC line endings. This version doesn't support Unicode but the author has announced an upcoming version will. It also won't print files when selecting them from the context...
