Well, i re ran my xp with the new 1_5er_KB967756RollBack_Addon_v2011-11_1_x86 and i gota say that yes a reboot is needed before windows live essentials can be installed. and it worked fine. For me it just means that i now have to maually install windows live essentials after a complete xp and reboot...

thanks for the reply, i did also try the other XPSP3_QFE_UpdatePack for Windows XP Post-SP3 20120710 and i had exactly the same thing. so, ill try this update fix later on in the day! as for windows live package, i only install the basic msn side of it and nothing else, but its there fully for other...

having major problems with this addon regarding runnin windows live messenger! im down to several tries later with just windows corp sp3 (iv always used this) and 5.8.0 update windows live messenger 14.0.8117.416 from this forum and winrar 4.20 regged in sv pack! windows live messenger 14.0.8117.416...
