So the question remains: Why would you prefer manually adding it over letting RVMI or nLite doing it for you? This one is intended as an addon, not a silent installer, hence the 7z extension. You're right, don't know why I'm doing it myself :rolleyes: I have some KB updates (besides xp update pack)...

Why do you run the DirectX addon separately? I've never had a problem adding it with RVMI as an addon. DirectX addon is not true addon, it's switchless installer and nlite adds it to svcpack, so it's the same thing if I add it manually to svcpack folder and svcpack.inf or add it using nlite Have yo...

source: win xp x64 with sp2
WMP11 integrated with boooggy's wmp 11 slipstreamer
addons integrated with nlite: 5eraph's update pack, IE8 addon, WLM addon
svcpack: redxii DirectX addon
runonce: HJW's .NET Framework ENU-x64

and everything works without errors :D
