Re: Remove 4GB RAM Limit of Windows XPx86 extend to 128GB

Thanks for your answer. I only use 8 GB of RAM but I'll probably switch to your addon for slipstreaming purposes.

Re: Remove 4GB RAM Limit of Windows XPx86 extend to 128GB

Hi Dibya and thanks for your great work on XP. I'm using the 64 GB of RAM patch (hal64g.dll & ntkl64g.exe) with excellent results. I think it was written by you as well. I'm considering slipstreaming a new XP install. Should I use the addon in this page instead or stick with the 64 GB of RAM patch ?...

Question, have you ever donated? Or are you just demanding for something you've never paid for? I am sorry for the tone of my message. Yes, I have donated to 2 members of the forum. I had already fixed the problem on my end by updating the OpenSSL files. I only wanted to point at the severity of th...

Yea. XP's biggest issue is it's a pain trying to find drivers that are compatible with 2013 hardware, doesn't natively support Sata 3, can't recognize/format SSD's Considering the you are writing in a forum regarding slipstreaming it takes some real guts to type so many wrong statements in one sent...

I have used all major Windows versions from 3.0 to 8.1

XP is the only one that works perfectly in so many different hardware configurations and virtual machines as well.

I can't like Windows Vista, 7 or 8. They are too big.

No problem.

AHCI drivers can be slipstreamed on XP, and SSDs were never an issue either. In fact XP does less writes considering that it uses less RAM and therefore less paging and therefore it's a better system for SSDs.

XP is incapable of supporting the latest SSD's due to the new NTFS block sizes they require to be formatted. Also, there is the issue of XP's lack of support for AHCI mode I know the second statement is wrong. AHCI is not dependent on the operating system but on the hardware controller, the bios an...

i got some error while installing windows xp when i inserted in laptop... Most newer laptops don't like XP. Driver and hardware issues etc. driverpacks.net I've never had a laptop that wouldn't run XP perfectly. You just need to slipstream modern drivers. Driverpacks is the way to go, it's easy, it...

@vix vc8 is NOT included in the update pack My apologies. [EDIT: I've done some research and it seems that user_hidden's and YY's pack don't overlap too much, so you must probably ignore the rest] Nevertheless, consider this Until you decided to include more stuff in your pack, I knew I had to slip...

I had a problem with a program not running (Ati Tray Tools) on a fresh WinXP + user_hidden QFE pack installation. So I reinstalled using YumeYao's MS Runtimes in addition and it worked. Ati tray tools requires VC8 which is supposedly included in yours. I think Phlox was right a few months ago. Your ...
