@ adric, I have read about that and understand it. I was just hoping someone would be able to provide a link to it. Even if it is just on this one occasion.

DR were not an unauthorised source when they were in operation. They were an official and authorised distributor for the ISOs until February of this year.

ISO download

Hello.

Does anyone here have the Windows 7 ISOs that Digital River hosted before they were taken offline? I am after either Professional Media Refresh with SP1 or just Professional with SP1.

There aren't "update packs" for Vista and later because how updates are added to the OS has been changed so they are no longer appropriate. Now instead, there are various tools available, such as Win Toolkit and the ones that Rick listed above, that can help you add updates, addons and tweaks, to y...

XP updatepack devs will go quiet. As for Win7/8.1 updates there are already a couple solutions ( WUD , WHD , KUC ) I did not know about those solutions but what I was actually asking was that will anyone create update packs for Windows 7 like for XP? This is what I am asking. If not then I guess it...

Windows 7

Hello.

This is too all who currently maintain update packs for XP. What I want to ask is if you will be stopping development as MS will stop fixing in a sense Windows XP and move onto Windows 7? Or will you stop altogether and pass the torch onto others?

Interesting, phox.........and in all those years, has integrating the update pack via nLite gave you any problems, even minor ones? You say on #0 that you copy the .iso to a folder. Aren't you supposed to say you extract the contents to the folder since you can't nLite an XP build in the .iso format?

Thanks for the reply, shiner.

I have integrated the update pack via RVMi many times but am waiting to see if someone can report that integrating via nLite is the same too.

Hello. A question. It says that we can integrate this with either RVMi or nLite. Are there any differences when integrating with either of them? I am asking this because both were developed by different people so it may be the case where one works in one way and the other works in another way or is ...

W7T does do removal. The screenshots prove it.

RT 7 Lite could very well be abandoned since the last update was in 2010.

Yes it does, mooms. The toolkit can remove components. Have a look in the screenshots. I am not sure if anyone here knows but there is another app similar to the toolkit. It's called RT 7 Lite and is actively developed but the last update for it was back in 2010 I believe as that is what it states o...

It really would have been beneficial if he had released the source so development could continue but if he had then possibly the next person will have the same happen to him/her too just like nuhi. Maybe someon...

nLite

Hello.

Does anyone here know if development for nLite will commence ever again?

It has been a long time since it was updated. I do understand that it's source is closed but I am hoping that maybe someone else can continue the development for it.

It doesn't really bug me tbh but I would like to remove them to further reduce the source size.

It's not as if I am going to take the CD with me and install it outside of the UK so I don't really see any purpose for it.

Remove Languages

Hello. The rest of the categories get removed ...

@ vmanda, I do take care when using nLite. I have been using it for quite a while now and know what to expect. I can get a build down to 180 MB from 600+ MB which will be in working order. As you can see that is a HUGE margin and a LOT or garbage. @ bphlpt, That is exactly the process that I do when...
