I've made an ISO with nLite, minor things removed, no patches, no tweaks... Everything is fine but Diagnose Connection Problems... add-on from IE doesn't work, it requires custsat.dll. I've copied it from another folder and the problem was resolved. Did someone experienced this? I've also posted on ...

Does anybody know if there may be a way to prevent the installation of KB900730? I'm having problems on XPSP2+RVM2.0.4 when trying to install CorelDRAW X3 which - without even asking - installs that hotfix right away. I guess things could be fixed by patching msi.dll to show a newer version; howeve...

I've just made an ISO with Integrator adding Ryan's latest update pack and WMP addon (that's all). I've got the following error in virtual machine's setuperr.log: Error: Setup failed to enumerate all component packages. Software which depends on this package may not function properly. . As a workaround, I'm thinking about shrinking down the main pack even further (I'm thinking about making it be for just the publicly-released MS hotfixes) and then creating an "unsigned" addon pack with all of the rest of the updates with no CAT files (meaning WFP won't like them, but they'll be ...

Yeah, it says it in my FAQ too . It's on his end, not mine. And it's hardly a big deal. All the updated files are still copied. It's because he's been hacking around with signature verification. Ok then, if I want to remove some Windows components and integrate the new pack with nLite wha...

I have a question regarding the Update Pack: a few days ago I reformated and didn't check the option of patching SFC in nLite. After that qfecheck reported that all updates should be reinstalled. Formated again and this time patched SFC. Everything was fine after that. So: is that SFC so important? :?

I'm happy now. :) No, I'm using 1.04 version so I had WhoLockMe. A few days ago I removed it because I had similar problems like this one. When I started this thread those problems were nearly the same so I thought it was WhoLockMe's fault again. But... yesterday I've installed the new Total Command...

Some strange problems
Hello! I had the unpleasant surprise today to see that something has changed in my quicklaunch and Start menu: I can't change the order of the icons from the quicklaunch and the order of folders from the Start menu with my mouse cursor (enable dragging and dropping is enabled). I suspect this is bec...

Two more for now:
1. TweakUI - another very useful tool.
2. Notepad2 - can you replace original Notepad with this one? Site: http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html It's really better than Notepad and the package is small (244 KB).

New update for SP2?
Sorry if this isn't the right place to post. I found this update not included in Update Pack: KB885222. I cheked Windows Update today but didn't fiind it. :? After you install Windows XP Service Pack 2, some 1394 devices (such as digital cameras that use S400 speed) may not perform as expected. Inst...
