Locate sp4inf.ca_ in the I386 of the disk and decompress it.
SHA1 hash of sp4inf.cat for XP Pro must be 50cdf333410aa7da38a31fe48e826c1faf05b2e0

You could disable new registrations, possibly allowing new registrations only by invitation, and leave the forum online. Also delete all spammers.
There is a great amount of info here, and would be such a pity to completely shut it down.
