tried to run IE8 setup on a live system, resulted on IE8 removal, reverting to IE7 :-O

when running iesetup.exe from extracted IE8.exe contents, results are OK.

tried to use removal addons, which resulted on missing files at setup. I've used exactly as described.

how to remove MRT (malicious removal tool), since it doesn't have a uninstall entry on Add/Remove programs? is just delete mrt.exe?

I think there's sth wrong with the 2.1.11 torrent.
Other torrents work really well, only this one doesn't show any peer in my client (although there are peers on the tracker website).

nah, he said before that addons are installed in the order of how they were made. So the safest way is to integrate some groups of addons that you feel essential first, then go on with the others.

Vista, that's a known bug on gamespot. Can be fixed by right click on the wmp window, option, performance, advance, turn off "use overlay" and "high quality mode".
