Another new version out, just thought I'd post it.

v1.1.2 (stable) http://www.metal-machine.de/readerror/i ... ;dl=item13

v1.1.1 came out yesterday and had a major flaw apparently, thus resulting in this fixed release.

anybody heard of HiJackFree?

It might be a pretty useful tool to some, check out the page for some screenshots: http://www.hijackfree.com/en/hijackfree/

Replaces HiJackThis and then some. Just thought I'd pass that along, in case someone was looking for something like this.

You would need to modify the .INF file for the addon and change up the destination dirs and make sure the shortcuts and everything else point in the correct place. If you understand what you're doing, it shouldn't be too difficult.

I believe this is just picking up on cmdow.exe hiding windows (although, I may be incorrect) -- it is just hiding the ugly console windows from you while it performs operations in the background (MAKECAB/EXPAND/etc).

I could be wrong, but in my experiences creating addons for my own use, I'd have to answer as follows: A1. No (but these files should be in 8.3 format... I read that somewhere) A2. No (only YourAddon.inf needs to be modifyPE'd) A3. Yes (thats all I ever use to create CABs) A4. Yes (I guess this goes...

@panda67: The same thing happened to me... but only if I integrated the update pack at the same time as the rest of the addons. So I started doing this in a second step, works fine now.

1.5.0.5 Final is out.

I already got that part working... now the only troubles I am having are with changing the default CMD.exe prompt for the user... I had it set to this: < cmdlines.txt > [COMMANDS] stuff.cmd < stuff.cmd > @echo off PROMPT [%USERNAME%]$S$P\$G$S exit The desired output for this build was '[user] folder...

Only a few problems here. RVMI 1.4 + Update Pack 2.1.0 + 11 addons. First time I ran this I got the inflated folder. Second try the program died while trying to integrate the Update Pack, and third try worked like a charm.

They should just give up on WGA for XP. I heard they're working on some new thing for Vista and Volume License Keys... something about having a set # of VLKs to help slow piracy. Definitely not going to out-right stop it. Nice try though...

@techtype: Read what I said carefully.
Say goodbye to the annoyances of WGA.
I merely meant the notifications were the annoyances. Sorry for not clarifying. That part seems to be the most hated... I don't recall as many people bitching about WGA before the notifications thing was in there.

Say goodbye to the annoyances of WGA. Wasn't sure if anyone here was aware of this as I didn't see any notice of it anywhere.

registry keys for editing desktop settings?

Is there any way to set the default font color to black? Or would this automatically switch to a black font if I used a light BG color such as RGB(198,211,199) (very light green). I've heard XP will switch black/white for lighter/darker background colors. Also, is it possible to make the icon label ...

Alright. Worked out all the things that were causing it to hang/not continue. So basically, if I'm going to add any addons in the future, make sure I add them when I'm adding all the others... rather than adding an addon to an already nLite'd/Integrator'd source. Seems to break it that way. Thanks f...

@FlyingGleek: Thank you very much for your post because you just proved exactly what went wrong on my end.
