You can setup Exclusions in the Resident Scanner in the Options of AVG Free. Have your builds and tools i.e. RVM Integrator, BTS, etc, in a seperate part of your hard drive (preferably a different partition) and exclude it to prevent this from being a problem. AVG might flag it as you are downloadin...

I have similar issues with AVG Free....

i added a exception in AVG that ignores a section of the HDD where i perform dev and OS building.

If you keep it completely seperate, you might want to try that too if there is a option in Kaspersky, or inform them of the false positive.

Cheers

I'll have a wild guess and say DennyMK that its probably going to be end of the week or next week.

But you shouldnt ask... its not polite considering the man does give up his time for free for us all.

Hi twinston

Just remember the rule of thumb with OS service packs that a Service Pack will include [generally] all publicly released hotfixes of previous Service Packs and hotfixes that have come out up to the point where the Service Pack is released.

You can do this with AutoImage using:

- a unattended answer file [which you need to create]
- RVM and the UpdatePack's + addons

Ta da! :)

Cant see how making a tool that exists already will be beneficial but good luck if you do :)
