Hey MrWoo, I'm no expert, but this seems to work fine. Just drag file onto option. Thank You! Where does this name "SG-IRA" come from? Yes, simple drag and drop was enough for me at that time. The two grids that pop up are for you to see what it found, what values cannot be handled (currently only ...

This would be a very useful tool. Especially if no .BLOAT is needed and it could handle the more complex data. In the mean time, anyone know of a still available reg2inf that does not require .BLOAT? Thanks I made a standalone version. Drag and drop an .inf file and convert to either .reg or .au3 s...

This could be done, however I cannot get the output piped into a script very easily. It would be better if you piped the results out to a text file, then ran a script on the text file. There is a structure to the output, so a script could be made to convert it. Having made a few different versions o...

n7epsilon has a good inf converter available. I also have one at mrwoojoo dot com. IMO best thing to do is segregate the vals in question and then use a converter to convert them and see what it is doing. Unless you really want to open the sdk's or something.

good luck.

I would suggest that you learn grub4dos. You use the integrator or whatever you may be building, then grub4dos basically builds a menu that you can customize to do lots of neatness. You make the iso with a batch file (which is really quick). Takes a bit of learning, but the results are well worth it...

Can anyone tell me -- addons that are services -- how u did

I am digesting inf file structure. One directive allows you to install a service. Things such as firewalls and AV apps usually have a service running, and a filter driver, presumably to act as the layer of protection. Anyway, in patched 2k/xp, the key HKLM,"CCS"\Enum\Root contains "LegacyDrivers", o...

Unless I come across a better way, I think of doing this. If a hex(1) type value is found, convert it to hex and write it to a .reg file. Set a flag. If that flag is true at end of app, ask for permission to include a runonce entry at end of add.reg section. Add appropriate directive parameters to i...

It would seem to be a dead end for the hex(1) type values. While there is a flag of 0D 0D in the Unicode binary, which you can find and parse with, I can find no way of using it in an INF file. The lower 4 values must be 0x0000, or it will not be REG_SZ. I have played with the upper 4 quite a bit to...
