[Request] Driver.cab to replace outdated Windows one

Is this possible, either as a direct replacement? Or an add-on to install device drivers?
Still using pyron's old method myself [from 2004] and winnt.sif method must be 8+ years old at least.
What's everyone's take on device drivers as we approach 2007?

@ViVa @Mitsuko Aninikkou Thanks. Seems we only really need jre6 then. Only the reason I asked was I was browsing RyanVM's bittorrent releases and he brought new versions of both these files out the same day as he released latest update pack. So I was unsure whether they had different purposes or not...

Re RyanVM jre6 and jre5010 switchless installers

@ anyone Are these installers for different runtimes and are both required to safely run all java web content from our install CD's? Or does one supercede the other? Can some kindly soul please explain or point me to some layman's resource that will explain. I have done the usual google searches but...

I agree with the general concensus here, when you need Notepad all you want is something very quick, very basic for a quick copy and paste. If you wanna write a letter use Word. You dont need an all-singing all-dancing Notepad. Its not what its for. Integrate your own if you want but please leave th...

Can you please clarify for me, Ryan or someone.
These can be extracted directly to i386 after integration
Is this correct procedure:
1]Manually integrate RyanVM Fullpack V1.2.2 into WinXP with already slipstreamed SP2.
2]Then extract "msi31full.rar" archive directly into I386 folder.

7z Silent/Switchless Installer for PowerDVD Help Please?

I've made a switchless installer for Cyberlink PowerDVD V6 Deluxe using the instructions on the sticky thread and upon a "double-click" test the app installs fine on a test PC with WinXP SP2 already installed. Totally silent, no issues, except for the "extracting" progress box - which I'm not bother...

I was aware of all the switches as I had checked out the website already. It was the actual working of how you had applied psshutdown to your pack I wasnt sure of. I didnt know whether you had just replaced one with the other or just used the psshutdown "engine" within shutdown.exe.

First of all, thanks for the great work you are doing on the pack it really is a godsend when used in conjunction with nLite. (Not sure about the logic behind psshutdown tho?!)
