Yeah, on my opinion WMP 10 fit better in the Windows XP environment than WMP 11. I don't see any functionnal improvements between those.

No more WGA on Internet Explorer 7 Installation

Hello Everyone,

I've just read that Microsoft has removed the WGA check on Internet Explorer 7, as they think that as a big amount of people are using it, it would be better to provide a safer experience to anyone.

Your best bet is probably to look at the change logs of various update packs. Although hardly clear and a lot of work, atleast you'll find which updates replaced which other ones there. That's what I am wondering. I'd like to know how they (the update pack makers) get figure out which update has be...

[Question] General informations about updates, etc

Hi, I would like to know how to know which are the current updates that need to be applied to have an up-to-date system, and how to know which update are deprecated. Is there a direct and clear document that indicate which updates get deprecated and which update succede them ? I am wondering where t...

I don't think it would be that difficult. You could even do it with a couple of scripts that would automatically download patches and extract their contents.

Yeah, pretty sure this is to enforce control over WGA protected downloads from their website. Again, DRM remove useability for security.

One little thing I noticed in Vista Aero is the kind of light reflections on windows borders when you move it. I think it might be a kind of overlay on top of the theme that only show where there are visible borders.

Would be nice to add this to Vystal :)

I personally think it could be interesting, but if you include more than one language, it might increase the final size over the maximum CD space. Yes, there are still people who don't have DVD players on their computers.

Keeping the MUI files on a separate CD might be better in this case.
