The only other suggestion I can think to offer is to remove all lines above the [Version] section. Registry hives have stricter standards than regular INFs. Removed all lines above [Version] in IE8Core.inf and...just for good measure in IE8.inf as well. Same "Line 0..." corruption failure in IE8Cor...

Save As with ANSI encoding (986K) and file hash matches again - OK
Substitute Save As version for original (removed original)

It works for me using u_h UP 1.0.3 and IE8 1.0.4 on XP Pro VLK SP3 (non-MSDN) with RVMi 1.6.1b2.1. Are you sure the file is IE8.INF and not IE8 Core .INF? I ask because Sereby uses the latter at the end of textmode when the registry is built. A problem with IE8.INF that early would just be a file c...

it would appear as though i still have a problem, but a different one this time. so i was able to extract the onepiece addon, run the customizer, then 7zip the resulting folder with ultra compression. i now have a custom onepiece addon totaling 70.4 mb. my problem is nlite says it is an unsupported...

Thanks to all....The file flag addition in Entries.ini solved the problem. Full unattended winnt32 hard disk based install completes without any issues. Looks like this addition in file flags needs to be incorporated into OnePiece's UP... :wink:
