Thanks. So, just to make sure I understand, would this be a suitable order: 1- Slipstream SP3 to existing SP2 disk 2- Slipstream WMP11 + hotfixes 3- IE7 Add-on 4- DotNet, DirectX, etc. My assumption in all this, perhaps wrong, is that Ryan's update pack won't be needed... at least until the next hot...

Thanks again everyone. So, on to the next question... let's say SP3 really does come out next week ( ). What does one do then? I know that SP3 doesn't include either IE7 or WMP11 but will it have hotfixes for either? Or, IOW, do I integrate or add-on everything (IE7, WMP11, DirectX, DotNe...

5 More Hotfixes - quickest way to include?
I just finished a successful integration of the latest update pack along with WMP11, IE7, and DirectX. Really, really nice! Then, I look at another machine and discover that MSFT snuck in another 5 hotfixes since the last update pack release. I've downloaded them and was wondering what's the easiest...

Trying to understand a simple sequence
I've downloaded the latest integrator (1.51) and the latest update pack (2.2.1) and I understand how to use this to update my SP2 disk. Very cool. Above and beyond that, all I want added is IE7 and MP11. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe these are done AFTER the update pack, right? I've download...

Net Framework Question
I'm lost. I did this about 5-6 months ago and it worked fine but I didn't take notes and I cant seem to find it now. Sorry. I'm trying to add the MS Framework "add-in" (?) pack to my XP installation. Last time, I added 1.1 and 2.0. Now (I think?) I want to do 3.0 (do I still need the others?). Anywa...

Sorry if this question is dumb but I read through this thread and went to the file site and still don't know the answer: Which files do I need to grab and run to have an up-to-date integration of WMP11? The slipstreamer, the microsoft installer, AND each of the hotfixes listed at the bottom of the p...

Which directories do I really need?
In addition to the obvious benefit of having an up-to-date Windows disk, I'm hoping to remove some of the excess junk that Dell has on there. I'm trying to figure out the absolutely essential directories. My original Windows XP Pro SP1 disk (from Dell) contains the following: $OEM$ DOCS DOCNETFX I38...

One More Question
I forgot to ask: so, what's the best method to incorporate the few July fixes/patches released my MSFT that were not included in the June update pack? Do I need to use something like Autopatcher?
Thanks again. Sorry if the question is dense!

Maintaining an Updated Slipstreamed Disk
I've successfully updated my SP2 disk with the latest pack and certain other add-ons, like IE7 and MP11. Thanks! Great product, easy to use. My question has to do with moving forward, when new update packs come out. Can I simply download the latest pack and, using the Integrator, just apply it OVER ...
