The only problem with the other method is, the file that needs to be edited is attributed as "Read Only". Will the RyanVM intergrator work on a file if its Read Only? Dumb question, Thats only when its installed. Ive been playing with the uninstaller, it seems that the only way to uninstall this an...

Keytotime, why package the file twice without compression? Wouldnt it have been better to compress it once, and copy it twice using an .inf file ? There is another way around WFP too from what ive seen, if anyone is curious read this link. I havent personally tested this method yet tho. If your not ...

Have a look in the inf mate, its quite simple to do it once you get the hang of them. I have most of mine as %STRINGS% so i can just use replace to do 99% of the work of the uninstaller !

Well, whenever the addons are installed, they place an .inf file in the windows\inf directory. As long as the whole install went via the .inf file (ie. no runonce or whatever) you should be able to modify it by hand to add in uninstall proceedures with no problems at all, then simply add the nesseca...

I seriously doubt that VLC registers anything since it doesnt work with directshow, so all you would basicly need is an addon that copies all the files, then makes a shortcut.

Should be really easy to be done i believe..

Only thing about CabTools that peeves me off is how it puts all the letters in capitals on the filenames. Call me picky, but i hate seeing my addons like that.

I did end up making an addon for the CabTools batch style, so it keeps the casing as it is supposed to be if anyone is interested.
