I don't want to use Ryan's update pack because I just want a redistribution package at the point of SP2 with the activeX controls. I'll worry about SP2a when I get to it. I know it's a weird request but you have your issue and I have mine. :P

Ok. The i386 directory is on the Windows CD/DVD. If you have an i386 in your %Windows% installation folder, you have something newer than Windows Server 2003. There are two information files missing in that directory for nLite integration, so don't even bother unless you know what you're doing. -_-
