I do not think it is a bad idea. If a regular slipstreaming person is smart, then they *really should* be using a winnt.sif file anyway. However, it does not really make a difference to me. I will use it either way, since I like the concept of the program.

If you cannot find an "uninstall" for a program by right clicking and selecting 'install', you might also try just looking into the addon's inf yourself. If you are comfortable poking around the registry, you can just personally delete the entries that the addon added by using the inf install method...

Sounds like a media error. You may need to be *absolutely* certain that it is not your media causing the trouble.

And to answer your question, I do not think there is a way to automatically skip damaged files.

Yes. Typically this would involve using nlite. There may be other alternatives, but I am familiar with integrating drivers directly into the setup via nlite. One can also integrate the textmode drivers thus preventing the need to hit <F6>. Further information can be found at nlite's site.
