Thank you for this addon. I took the inf and modified it to install in custom directories for my own purposes (I am a perfectionist). Seems to work pretty well.

If you want, I can post the modified inf so that other people could easily customize their own installation too.

Hmmm ... I seem to be confused. What is the difference between this and the straight addon you have in another post?

If this is supposed to build from the most current version of ImgBurn, then a bit more on the instructions would be helpful for setting this one up.

If it is what I think it is, more than likely not thedexmonster. It should be just the "standard" LegitCheckControl.dll which is the more up to day version.

If it is the way I see most addon files, there is an "Entries_AddonName.ini", "AddonName.inf", and an "AddonName.cab". The ini file is a generic basic placeholder for the sysoc.inf file, while the inf for the addon is what takes care of files, registry entries, etc. The cab file is what holds the ne...

I sent you a PM Kelsenellenelvian, however I do not know how to add attachments to PMs. If you get a headache going through all of that mess I sent you, I can try an alternate way of getting the modified inf file to you.

Thank you for looking in to this.

Here is the relevant portions of the inf file. After further investigation, I realize now that if someone chose to use a modified inf file, the files in the changed directory would not be removed due to the "default" unins000.dat pointing to "C:\Program Files\SpywareBlaster". If that could be modifi...

I do not thank the addon makers enough. So I would like to thank you ricktendo64 for the Spyware Blaster addon you have made. That being said, I hope I am allowed to make a request/suggestion on how to improve your addon. It has been mentioned previously about changing the desktop icon name. However...

Once again, I would like to say that I appreciate the work you do Kelsenellenelvian. Because I like the way Mrs. Peel kept the inf files, as a request, could you modify your inf slightly to have an actual "Install_dir" string so that the file destination can be changed easily? (Similar to the way th...

I probably should post more often to tell people how much of a good job they do. Therefore, I am posting to say thank you Kelsenellenelvian for the wonderful addons that you make. They seem to be updated regularly which impresses me even more with the time you spend on them.

Thanks again.

Although I still have my original CD, I have an XP CD that has SP2 slipstreamed on to it. It makes updating easier due to not having to integrate SP2 *every time* I want to make an update to my CD.

Normally, the 'keys' for Windows XP installation CDs can be set in the winnt.sif file. This location also typically gives setup information so that most installs can be run unattendly. To create an "official" winnt.sif file, you would have to locate the 'Windows Deployment Resource Kit' which contai...

This being my first "official" post, hopefully I can add something useful here. Virtual Box does had substantially different than MS Virtual PC. I can say this because I was originally trying to use Virtual Box to test my install CD, where as it locked up in text mode right at the "starting up windo...
