These files should reside in the %systemroot%\system32 as well. The netfx35.inf copies these files to the 11 dirid. So they must be added later by the MSI installer. In any case, check it again.

I'll look into the patches soon.

@Atari800xl There some compoents that are different between versions, like Windows Media Player access, IIS, .NET Framework 4.0 and FreeStyle (that's MCE). So you need seperate sysoc.inf that specify different components to configure for each version.

The .NET Framework 3.0 updates are not offered via Windows Update even if you apply the POSReady update hack. I have added the KB2973115 .NET Framework 3.0 update to the Post-sp4 update repository. It has been included in the post-sp4 update pack as well.

@darkrats No, in live installation .NET Framework 1.1 and 3.5 will be always installed. In CD-ROM installation you can use the netfx35.inf in Patches directory to install Windows XP without any version of .NET Framework (except .NET Framework 1.0 SP3 if Tablet PC or Media Center will be installed.

All of them except for the tcpip patch should be applicable.

The tcpip.sys version in SP4 is higher than the latest version supported by the patch addon you mention. You have to port the patch to the latest version (5.1.2600.6009)

@ darkrats: The SP4 installer will not update files that are newer than those it installs. This means that POSReady 2009 updated files should not be affected. There might be a few updates that will require reinstallation, but Windows Update will inform you about those.

All the latest patches are available in the "November 2014" subfolder

For your convenience I have added the .NET patches (from September) to the November folder.

The WindowsXP-KB3003057-IE6core.exe can be used regardless of your IE version. It updates core system files related to IE6 shell.

It will not let you proceed without entering a CD key if you have slipstreamed SP4 to an OEM ISO. This happens by design for all Service Packs.
