Well... from further research I was reading that someone said it only happens to SP3 slipstreamed disks. But also people stated if they remove ie7... select the option in ie6... then install ie7 they don't have an issue. Very odd. So it may be an ie7 issue instead of an SP3 issue. It is an issue tho...

Addons should never use Entries.ini !!!

You need to make sure it is named Entries_*.ini

If you name it entries.ini it will overwrite any UpdatePacks entries file. That is one of the main differences between an UpdatePack and Addon.

I have used Bootcamp for mac a few times and never have noticed an issue with SP3.CAB. If this is true and it may be an issue... then we could allways allow the integrator to create a blank SP?.cab file. I think that would be a very dumb way for mac to detect a servicepack though. Usually if the version is incremented by the third digit everything should be fine to upgrade. But if the first or second digit is incremented then you should not upgrade. ;)

Yes the beta versions of the integrator have been getting lots of false positives from AV companies latley. :( Sorry. Once we go final I will do whhat I need to do... to notify the AV companies not to flag it.

If I run the installer again after the first boot everything seems to be fine. So something just isn't getting input correctly when it is run during setup at svcpack or at runonce. But when it is run manually it seems to work fine.

Just to clear up the main difference... Microsofts method of integrating is just simply adding the hotfix exe files to the disk and installing at the 13 minute mark (T13).
