mindcurd, HFSLIP is another integration app, similar to Integrator and nlite. But HFSLIP works using a CMD (command-line interface), kinda like DOS. I was tempted to use it, but the whole CMD thing makes it less user-friendly. Plus, the forums here are full of nice addons, and helpful advice. So, re...

mindcurd read my mind on this one. SpyBot (best freeware) and Spyware Doctor. You need at least 2 to get out all the nasties. Also, using Firefox in lieu of IE (especially with a few handy extensions, like AdBlock) are the best defense. I just installed Spyware Blaster. After a week or two, I'll sca...

Ah, the good ol' AV debate!! Here's some food for thought: Kaspersky's detection-rates are HIGHLY questionable. It constantly bugs you with little warnings, and has been shown on many tests to come up with false positives. So, if you see something that says it catches, say, "99.9% of all known virus...

I don't know if anyone else is following this, but Nero Lite (and Micro) have been released by hp38user at his website: http://www.updatepack.nl/ I love this thing. Gets rid of 300mb or so of bloat. I'm hoping to make a switchless installer for this, and post it here. So if someone could point me to...

At first, I was real big on wanting an IE7 addon, for the security. Plus, you know Microsucks will stop putting out security fixes for IE6 anytime now.
