I haven't tried it myself, Kel. Just found it here in the Addon forums. Looks like it does the same as Rollup, except that it adds a couple of buttons to the top-right corner. Just seems a little more practical to use (and no tray icon). I've used a couple of Alienware themes that worked the same wa...

Filebox is. And I think that's the one that really counts anyways. Although Kel will probably say that the Rollup program takes care of that. But this one looks nicer. Have you tried Filebox?

Kel,
What do you think of these apps? Any chance of including them in your Uber Pack?

Think the post should be renamed [Release] now, right? :D

ricktendo,
You think there's any way Kel would add this to his Uber Pack?

Yeah, I'm waiting to see how this comes out, too.

Question:
When do you think it'll be ready? And about how large will it be (MBs)?

Yeah, me too.

I think I had way less problems with nLite 1.0.1, but just like you, it may just be from adding IE7. VERY glitchy. I PM'ed him about it. I'll let you know if I get a response.

Here's my take on the whole WGA/IE7 thing: You're stuck with IE7. No way around it. If you try to remove it, XP cries. Not only will you seriously corrupt your XP, but neither MU or WLM will work either. In fact, M$'s integration of IE into XP is what's TRULY illegal. (The courts proved it.) I'm a h...

Kel,
Could you add a Control Panel extension for ClearType? Sometimes the default settings hurt my eyes depending on the monitor.

edit: Nevermind. Just found your "CPL All-in-one" pack. Think you could combine the two, though, just as an option for some of us?

Thx

It does.
So basically, it's kinda like the WGA hacks that don't get rid of WGA, but stop it from constantly checking... sort of.

Harmless hack, am I correct?

Question guys:
What exactly does this patch do? How does it speed up network browsing?

I have a couple of customers who have home networks, and I'd like to add this to my XP, but I wanna make sure it won't mess anything up.

PS: Is this tweak included elsewhere as part of an Addon Pack?

I second that. I'm all for people's opinions. On some forums, people get attacked for asking for this or that to be added (or removed). I think that's really annoying. People expressing their opinions is part of the function of a forum. Still, in this case, I played with the themes, and... :c...

Thx for the tip.

You think it's better to integrate themes with Integrator or nLite?

I hope everyone likes the new walls. Just a tip for some: If you're still having trouble with the themes, you can also patch UXTHEME.DLL in OPTIONS thru nLite. For some reason, the themes didn't work right for me until I did this. Of course, I've hacked the hell out of my XP cd, so it could've been ...

Classic?

OK, I've tried this TWO ways now: as an Addon to XP, and also extracting the .cab files and applying the .theme files manually.

Both ways, I don't get a Zune-type theme. I get a Midnight color variation of the Windows Classic theme.

Am I doing something wrong here?
