nLite's integration of IE7 is even a little better than "flawless" since it fixes the Microsoft bug mentioned above where runonceex is disabled! :D :D

You can edit the registry with a BartPE disk. Just be sure to do a "runscanner" first so that you are editing the registry on the hard drive. Google "runscanner" for more.

WGA Notifications already checks Office but does not do anything yet if it fails. You can see what it thinks the validity of your Office is by running WGAdiagnostics. Look for the Office return code -- only "100" means genuine.
