VB Scripts fail

Post by TinkerToyz » Wed May 18, 2005 1:49 pm

In addition to my previous post regarding "Windows cannot load the Internet Configuration library (ICFGNT.DLL)", I have also noticed another problem ... I cannot run my VBS scripts.

My unattended build is Microsoft's Business Desktop Deployment.
The OS is copied from a network share and then following setup, the OS then runs a batch file the runs various scripts. The first script connects the PC to the build share to install all the applications.

I installed a bare bones out of the box XPSP2 and it runs the VB scripts just fine. I then incorporated the latest Full Update pack, 1.2.2 and when the batch file runs "cscript connect.vbs", I receive the error: Input Error - There is no script engine for file extension ".vbs". If I double click on the CONNECT.VBS then I get an Unlocker 1.6.1 dialog error stating "No locking handle found."

If you have any ideas I am open to trying them!

Hmm, sounds like the file type isn't be registered properly. I'll look into it.
