RyanVM Update Pack 2.1.0 - Released July 14, 2006
and what about all the warnings in event viewer? is it really a good idea to just ignore em?
so mmc is an ignorable issue.... but what's causing it really though... an error isn't that perfect.. whats it about... and what about winmgmt? every error on winmgmt dont seem good to me
quite some time ago, i posted explorer.exe not closing properly and so on, now i just get this feeling its somehow related to winmgmt. my newer integrations always got this stalling and explorer.exe not closing properly issue..
my older integrations don't got this issue... (early this year)

I've been using MMC every single day for 6 years now. Version 1.x was the only stable version I had ever used. Jumping ahead to the current version 3 - I upgraded to MMC3 manually prior to Ryan integrating it into the Update Pack and I sporadically got errors with it then and get the same ones now after integration.
So in short, from my personal experience the integration of MMC3 is fine, it's the product itself that is typically Microsoft. As far as winmgmt errors go in the event viewer, I've always had them as well. Whether or not MMC3 was in installed manually or via direct integration.
There have always been event viewer errors that are consistent with every install going back to NT4. I used to spend my days on web sites like eventid.net, even had a subscription for a few years, but after a while for better or worse you learn to just ignore certain event viewer entries.

I've been horrendously busy on campus lately (working ~12 hour days), so my day pretty much consists of waking up at 6-6:30AM, taking the train into the city, working until 7-8PM, taking the train home, and crashing on the couch until my wife drags me to bed. So yeah, don't expect any updates until this weekend when I get a chance to get caught up on sleep.

This is actually the first time i'm biting my nails and hoping to see the pack released. I'm usually a very patient person, but my timing s*cks when it comes to the updatepack releases.
I've built a "Post RVM update pack" including a bunch of unofficial fixes (might go public if I feel I got the time), and it's targeted at 2.1.0 but I can't possibly work on it anylonger before 2.1.1, simply because it feels as it's going to be released soon, mind games.
But please take your time, I really respect you've got other things to do right now!

Bâshrat the Sneaky has been busy as well. Be sure to include DP Base 6.08.2 when updating your XPCD with Update Pack 2.1.1
