forum time goofy

Post by TechnoHunter » Tue Aug 01, 2006 1:53 am

forgive me in advance if this is just me, but i just posted to the forum and it shows my post time as 9:45.. even though the profile has the correct timezone listed for me (gmt -8) for pacific time zone.. my local clock however showed my time as 10:48 (by the time i checked all variables, timezone and whatnot)

any ideas?

Daylight saving??

I've had a similar problem, when it's one hour off and have to push the timezone one our, don't know if it's the same though..

hmmm, i didnt notice a check mark for daylight savings in the profile section here.. but i did go ahead and change the timezone from gmt -8 to gmt -7 .. seems to have made the posts look correct as far as time goes.. just curious really as to what caused the goof in the first place ;)

phpBB doesn't support DST, as weak as that is. That's a mod I've been meaning to install for awhile...

I think it's going to be addressed in the next release, along with about a million other updates.

Yeah, phpBB3 should be a nice upgrade.
