Shutdown.exe / psshutdown.exe syntax usage query

Post by DLF » Tue Dec 21, 2004 6:47 pm

Just a quickie, I use a restart command at the end of my Apps install on my uA CD via shutdown.exe. With RyanVM full pack integrated do I need to change cmd syntax to include "ps" before "shutdown"? Or does the command syntax stay the same?
At the moment I'm using=

ECHO.
ECHO Restarting the PC automatically in 15 secs...
shutdown.exe -r -f -t 15

As it currently stands, PsShutdown overwrites shutdown.exe on the CD. Syntax can be found at their website.

@Ryan
I was aware of all the switches as I had checked out the website already. It was the actual working of how you had applied psshutdown to your pack I wasnt sure of. I didnt know whether you had just replaced one with the other or just used the psshutdown "engine" within shutdown.exe.

Yup, I just overwrite shutdown.exe with it.
