try re-downloading the integrator and check that the hashes match.. on a different note, what OS are you using?

rvmcab.exe is nothing but a renamed makecab.exe (the build that comes with XPSP1 in case you care). If it's crashing, you've got system problems not related to the Integrator.

I suppose it's possible that makecab could choke on a corrupted file, but I can't say for sure since I've personally never encountered such a situation :)

Does WinRAR complain if you test extract driver.cab and sp2.cab within it?

This error seems to have come back.

I've never had a problem before till now. This is with Sp3 no sp2 how ever. I have tryed it on two different machine (one being a vm and one being real) so I don't belive it has to do with hardware. I have also redownload both the ryanvm integrater and the update pack. I ahve tested both driver.cab and sp3.cab with rar and it check out fine. This happend durring the compressing i386 directory. Any other thoughts I know this is an old topic.

In the beta versions of the upcomming integrator I have been having problems simular to this. But in the stable 1.5.3 I don't have any reports of an issue. But in the next beta I am going to be implementing a new compression method created by code65536 which should help stablize your issue (If it is related).
