Just a little Question after the integration

Post by avexmode » Tue Sep 16, 2008 3:39 pm

After I successfully integrate "Windows XP Post-SP2 Update Pack 2.2.3"

the source folder (xpcd_source) containing "i386" is 527MB
Image

now, after the integration on the (xpcd_final) folder the "i386" is only 517MB...

I found its weird because "RVMUpdatePackSP2_2.2.3" is 49MB... Meaning after the integration the final folder should be higher (in size) than the source....

Magic: Older files are replaced with newer files which may increase in size slightly. Combining driver.cab and SP2.cab using higher compression settings than the originals results in a significant reduction in size. Removing subdirectories unneeded for a fresh installation further reduces the size.

Yes, it was.... +1

Actually, I kinda like "RyanVM Integrator" now over nLite on integrating Hotfix....
