kaspersky catch makecab.exe

hi,
kaspersky 2009 catch as a trojan and delete ..//UPX//makecab.exe..it's false positive.anybody have the same issue?

I have similar issues with AVG Free....

i added a exception in AVG that ignores a section of the HDD where i perform dev and OS building.

If you keep it completely seperate, you might want to try that too if there is a option in Kaspersky, or inform them of the false positive.

i move to ESET after Kapersky catch my winrar sfx as all virus....
they never test properly before update....

In Kaspersky in Settings->Options->Threats and exclusions->Settings, uncheck those two boxes from Compressed files
and a large number of false pozitives is gone. For example, Other malware refers to hacking tools (one or two utilities from Nirsoft are "labeled" like trojans or other baddies :) :o )
