Which Pack to use?? Windows XP (no service packs installed--Yet)

Post by AuxJus » Fri Nov 28, 2008 3:18 pm

Hello everyone, sorry if this it a really stupid question.. It's been a while since I tried to do this.

I have a virgin Windows XP ISO. No service packs have been integrated into is. I would like to Integrate SP3 and a more recent pack that has any post SP3 updates in it.

If I just download the latest Update pack, will that work on a Virgin ISO image?

Thanks...

the latest update packs are post sp3 ,wich mean they contain hotfixes since sp3 has been released.so you will need to slipstream the sp3 b4 integrating the update packs.the integrator can do both.

to update a virgin disc, you'll have to download sp3 standalone installation here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

both RVMi and nLite can help you slipstream this service pack to your original disc.

further you can integrate the latest update pack to your installation source.
