Using the integrator
Using the integrator
Hello
It was a long time since last time using the integrator
I've tried to recall what I used to do but was not able to complete the whole thing
Please does there is any tutorial how to use it correctly
I am using my original XP SP2, and will integrate SP3, and rayan post-sp3 update pack, also I've downloaded several add-on from several places and would like to integrate all of them directly into the source
I am sorry if it seems silly to ask for such a thing but I do not have any other options
-Off Topic-
Do you recommend using nLite?
Thanks

The Integrator has an online manual.
The integrator will determine if a service pack needs to be applied to the source, and, if so, it will ask you where to find it on your hard drive. Download the necessary service pack from Microsoft before starting the Integrator.

Seraph - I probably messed up somewhere - Advice needed
New User here trying to figure this tool out.
When I ran Integrator and attempted to access a MS SP3 download ending in .exe (Over 300 MB), the INtergator repeatedly gave me error messages . I was going in under the FILE tab option as described elsewhere.
FInally gave up and went back to NLITE - it recognized the file and proceeded along through ISO creation and burning.
Any idea what I might have done wrong from this brief description? I'd like to recreate the error message but deleted the MS distro file after the successful Nlite session.
Suggestion: It might AID us newbies to add instructions with screen shots for this process in the GUIDE.
FInal question: I'm guessing because I didn't see it discussed anywhere that a "Post SP3 update" does NOT also include the required SP3 update. Is that correct? Or is it inclusive?
Thanks.

Without the actual RVMi error messages or anything, it's hard to comment on that.varocketry wrote:New User here trying to figure this tool out.

The online guide HAS lots of screenshots.
SP3 is NOT included within any of the post SP3 update packs.

Ok, Beats, thanks.
Could you point me to the screenshots in the GUIDE showing integration of a Microsoft Update distro .exe using the manual manual accessing the FILE tab of RVMi?
That's what we were discussing and I've searched repeatedly for it.
Many thanks in advance.

Perhaps I'm confused. You're trying to slipstream Service Pack 3, correct?
