Delay after-press any key to boot from cd...??

Post by thuun » Mon Nov 14, 2005 5:38 pm

I've noticed that when using the new RVM pack, I'm getting this odd delay right after 'prees any key to boot' message at the start of setup.

oh, nevermind, look where i am, i must have a problem, right ryan?

...now, let's see about this new integrator, it received 4 updates very quickly, hmm...

It is a project that does much more behind the scenes then you know. All programs are bound to have bugs... and the integrator has only had very minor ones since it's official release.

As for the delay you are asking about... I highly doubt it has anything to do with the updatepacks. Have you tried using an original disk to install XP? It also has a delay.

touchy, touchy.
Wasn't trying to say that these integrator updates were the result of poor work, maybe too much alcohol though.

I suppose pugging my work is just terrible, then again you don't see a billboard under each of MY posts.
Lots of poeple here don't trust Ryan's pack but are still nice enough to contribute to addons and post info. on issues.

I suppose integrating over 100mb. of Micrsoft's guesswork is the only way to go.
...PEBKAC error? funny ryan. ha... ...ha.

thuunUpdatePack v3.0.1

:P

RVM's work is deserving of credit, I can try things out as well, At least I don't hide in the shaddows. That pack up top is old, revised, thrown away 10 times, and I learned some important things. NHF
I was trying post install updates vs. integration, so I wouldn't say that I compeating. I am rather supporting Ryans work, realize it or not.
