Waarschijnlijk gaat er tijdens de zomermaanden geen pack verschijnen. Tenzij misschien het twee maanden aan een stuk gaat regenen.

MEULC,

Ik heb een aantal opmerkingen (bugs).

Je kan via de taakbalk > eigenschappen > werkbalken, geen snelstart aanmaken. (Zie plaatje hieronder)

En je krijgt het oude IE logo (als je er op klikt krijg je wel IE 7)

Als je IE opstart krijg je onder in de taakbalk een lege balk en hetzelfde geld voor de titelbalk van IE. (Zie plaatje hieronder)

Ligt dit aan mij of aan de packs? (bij April Pack had ik hier geen last van n.l.)

Ik hoor het wel. Verder top werk!

Had net dezelfde problemen
D8 dat het misschien aan nlite 1.4b zou liggen dus ging vanavond eens proberen met de 1.3.5

Problemen liggen in geen van de packs, hier werkt alles namelijk perfecto. Geen problemen at all.
Ik adviseer jullie om clean cdtjes te pakken en vervolgens de packs opnieuw te integreren.
Wil dat niet helpen probeer dan eens RyanVMintegrator ipv nLite.

MEULC test heus wel zn packs voordat ze online komen hoor

Ik gebruik updatepack,IE7,WMP11 etc.. maar niet met nLite maar met RyanVMintegrator..

Bij het installeren van Windows XP vanaf een bootable USB-stick volgens

werd de file ieframe.mui niet gevonden.

De file ieframe.mui ontbreekt in ie7.cab van IE7 Addon van Juni 2007

Deze file staat nu compressed in de root van IE7 Addon.
maar komt niet voor in de LocalSource, gemaakt voor installatie vanaf USB-stick.

In de April IE7 Addon staat ieframe.mui nog wel in ie7.cab en komt daarmee ook voor in de LocalSource.
Met de April Addon van IE7 werkt installatie mbv een LocalSource vanaf een USB-stick perfect.

De 4 Juni Addon's werden geïntegreerd mbv RyanVM Integrator.

Wat maakt het uit of ieframe.mui in de ie7.cab file zit, of gewoon in de root? Als het in de root zit, dan staat er een verwijzing naar in txtsetup.inf, en als het in de ie7.cab zit, dan staat de verwijzing in ie7.inf

Op zich maakt dat toch niets uit?

Het verschil wordt pas duidelijk bij het maken van een LocalSource voor installatie van XP vanaf een bootable USB-stick volgens:

4. Backup your local BOOT.INI and in the XP setup folder \I386 run
CODE
winnt32 /makelocalsource /noreboot

after it's finished restore BOOT.INI you backed up.

5. Copy two new folders onto the USB stick root - $WIN_NT$.~BT and $WIN_NT$.~LS

Bij de April Addon komt de file ieframe.mui via ie7.cab in de LocalSource terecht,
maar bij de juni Addon van IE7 ontbreekt de file ieframe.mui in de LocalSource folder $WIN_NT$.~LS.

In dat laatste geval lukt de installatie niet: dat is het verschil !!

De verwijzing naar ieframe.mui komt niet voor in txtsetup.sif voor Juni 2007 !
Dat zal het probleem wel zijn, want daar staat ieframe.mui in de root van de IE7 Addon.

Inderdaad, je hebt gelijk. De verwijzing naar ieframe.mui klopt niet!
Waarschijnlijk zal dat ook wel de reden zijn waarom de integratie via nlite niet werkt. Wel straf dat het via RVMintegrator geen probleem geeft...

Helemaal beneden staat een sectie [usertweaks]
Als je alles wegdoet wat daar beneden staat, dan heb je wel het startscherm
Nu staat standaard tabs en phising aan + een lege startpagina

Dat is misschien afhankelijk van AutomaticUpdates=yes of AutoLogon=Yes in je winnt.sif file ...
Zonder deze vermeldingen in winnt.sif heb ik geen probleem met WindowsUpdate melding van KB933566

Ff een vraagje tussendoor, jij en enkele anderen zijn een beetje de hotfixpakketjes experts? Zouden jullie niet een groter publiek willen bereiken door bijv de nederlandse autopatcher te gaan doen?

waarom moeten we een groter publiek willen bereiken? En eigenlijk vind ik autopatcher een beetje overbodig.. als je je updates wilt, doe dan gewoon windows updater en na een format is dit forum wat je moet hebben.

Werkenlijk het domste wat ik ooit gehoord heb:"waarom zouden we een groter publiek willen bereiken?"

Na een format heb je geen ruk aan dit pack. Je moet al van te voren een cd hebben gebouwd en dan nog moet ik zowel mediacenter als home als proffesional hebben. Autopatcher is dan wat handiger voor me maar die loopt hopenloos achter.

Windows update voor vooral mediacenter vind ik nogal onbegonnen werk.

Hoe dan ook, ik heb ondertussen een kant en klare cd gevonden die alleen maar hotfixes bevat en verder niks. Het heet c't of zoiets en is 700 MB groot.

Beste Meulc, allereerst weer mijn complimenten voor alle tijd en aandacht die je erin stopt om de packs te maken.
Nu heb ik zelf een vreemd probleem waar ik niet eerder last van heb gehad.
sp2.cab is verdwenen na het slipstreamen................

Ik ben altijd uitgegaan van een clean origineel Xp Pro cd met sp2.
Tot deze update heeft het altijd gewerkt......

Is er iets veranderd of moet ik iets anders instellen?
