not kb3087039, as that one also has "atmfd.dll", which is not replaced.
Like last time, I didn't "continue" my search for "win32k.sys" in the extracted updates index list, after finding it in kb3087039.

KB3134214 is also superseded, Atari800xl.

There are five POSReady updates superseded, bluebolt. In OnePiece's update pack, KB979482 is also superseded.

I got the list almost correct on my own this time, but once again I forgot to "continue search" on "win32k.sys", so I missed the fact that kb3139852 was also superseded.

Hi!

I just registered today and this 1st post is mainly for not being deactivated like i experienced before, and to briefly introduce myself and motivations.

I'am a complete newbie with forums, boards, topics, posts etc... so i am weeks, months away from being a contributor but i am willing to give it a try.

French is my main language so forgive my not so good english.

I know this project is well mature now but the french section seems to be on the halt and this is where i would like to contribute and with RyanVM Integrator translation as well. Hopefully a newbie and his dumb newbie questions is still welcome, if not let me know.

Found 6 new POS updates today:

kb3160005 replaces 3154070 (ie8)
kb3161561 replaces 3126041 (kerberos.dll), 3023562 (ksecdd.sys), 3073921 (sprv0413.dll, srv.sys)
kb3161664 does not fully replace 3145739 (only contains win32k.sys)
kb3161949 new (mswsock.dll, netbt.sys, winhttp.sys, ws2_32.dll)
kb3162835 replaces 3153731 (tzchange.exe)
kb3164035 replaces 3156013 (gdi32.dll)

Total: 6 new updates, 6 replaced.

As always, I'm awaiting 5eraph's approval (I usually miss something, still trying though...)

True, but KB3161664 does fully replace KB3153199. The rest is spot on.

In KB3153199, there are all these files in subfolders, for example asms\10\msft\windows\gdiplus\gdiplus.dll
These are not in the new KB3161664.
Can you please explain why KB3153199 is still replaced then? Thanks!

but you meant: "It doesn't replace the one you mentioned, but it DOES replace another!"

Like I said, I searched for "win32k.sys" in my update file index list, and stopped when I found it in 3145739. Of course, I should have continued the search, in which case I would have found it in 3153199.
Sorry for the confusion, thanks again for keeping the list updated!

I usually do too many things at once. Yesterday I sysprep-updated 7, 8.1x86, 8.1x64, 10ent and 10pro.
I've had this "repeat search" problem before, and thought I made a note of it, but it slipped through again...

Onepiece tool produce "Microsoft Update List.txt" but there is no urls and seems WU use delta compressed ones.

I just registered and i want to say a big thanks to nonno fabio, OnePiece Alb, user_hidden, 5eraph and harkaz
for the excellent work to keep alive the WinXP.

I tested UpdatePack 1.07 and DXUPAC 1.2.3.4 and would like to share my results.

I created WinXP Pro install DVD using UpdatePack 1.07 and nLite, installed the operating system,
applied the POS registry hack and ran Windows Update, which listed 44 High-priority updates available:

3 020 393, 3 021 674, 3 004 361, 3 029 944, 3 033 889, 3 035 132, 3 065 979

3 108 381, 3 109 560, 3 121 918, 3 126 593, 3 126 587, 3 124 280, 3 139 398
3 139 914, 3 139 940, 3 140 709, 3 146 963, 3 149 090, 3 145 739, 3 153 171
3 153 731, 3 153 704, 3 164 035, 3 161 561, 3 161 949, 3 162 835, 3 164 033
3 170 455, 3 168 965

Then i tested UpdatePack 1.07 and DXUPAC, created embedded add-ons by using the
44 updates suggested by Windows Update.

I integrated the UpdatePack 1.07 and the embedded add-ons using nLite.

WinXP installs smoothly, without warnings or errors, and I run the POS hack.

Afterward, Windows Update finds the following 5 High-priority updates available:

2 957 503, 3 013 126, 3 029 944, 3 035 132, 3 065 979,
already included in the embedded add-ons pack.

It's not a big problem, but why it's happening?

BTW how to slipstream .NET 2.0-4.0 updates like in Onepiece Pack? DXUPAC doesn't seems handle it.

Welcome to the forum.

That happens because Windows Update doesn't properly check for supersedence with Side-by-Side (WinSxS) updates. All of those are replaced by KB3145739. You can prevent those from appearing by adding the following registry entries to one of the INF files:

With the XPSP3_QFE_UpdatePack and XPSP3_QFE_POSReady_Addon, i have not any problem.

I opened the OPMWXPUP.inf from my OnePiece_WinXP_Embedded_Post-SP3_True_AddOn_ENU
with the 44 POS updates and i saw that there are registry entries only for the following 14 POS updates:

2 926 765, 2 957 509, 2 961 072, 2 991 963, 2 993 254, 2 998 579, 3 004 361,
3 033 889, 3 076 895, 3 080 446, 3 081 320, 3 087 039, 3 092 601, 3 108 381.

In contrast in the 5erPOSUp.inf, there are registry entries for all POS updates.

I don't know how to modify .inf files.

A simple solution is to add the registry entries manual after installation and before windows update

Hi does anyone has trouble with WIC thumbnailing (OnePiece UP 1.0.7)?
for example I install webpcodec 0.19 but it can't show thumbnail in explorer, install Live Photo Gallery 14 but still can't open webp image.

No Flash Player update this month. But, since 2007, there has always been an August cumulative time zone update, with the exception of 2010 which wasn't cumulative. It's conspicuously absent so far... I'm waiting a few days for it to materialize before releasing what I have.

Help... I'm serious this time

I have trouble applying any of .NET 2.0 updates that I posted above on OnePiece UP (not integrate it, but installing it live). However all .NET 3.0 and 4.0 updates install fine. Windows installed fresh in VM.

OT: about my previous babbling of webp codec, turned out only google webp that doesn't work, Live photo gallery has WIC support and works with codecs from MS RAW viewer or fastpictureviewer. Explorer thumbnail possible if there is shell extension like fastpictureviewer one.

Edit: I could integrate the updates into ricktendo's NET AIO, so it seems nothing wrong with the files. I still prefer OnePiece .NET though than installing AIO at T-13

Well, OnePiece was here just a few days ago, maybe we can all try to convince him to make one more release of the Final XP pack? (Including the NET stuff, I'm completely clueless about that, I only know how to do the DXUPAC stuff on the Embedded updates and create a new iso).
