thank you very much nanno fabio for your update it is really great. but i have problem with windows media player i cant play avi files with wmp11 when i only integrate your update pack and removed and added nothing else this problem started from 2.9 and already exists and windows search that i mentioned before

.NET Setup Verifier searches for files not needed in a "true" integration. Simply ignore it.

You can do a further test: install .NET 2 only (or higher) on a freshly installed XP from a source updated by XP AIO Pack and then run .NET setup Verifier searching for .Net 1.1. It will result correctly installed now

what are each of these, do they install what is in xp sp3 by default and ON means they install a newer version from onepiece 3.0?

I want to install everything in onepiece except for windows powershell pro, windows search 4.0, bitlocker and windows messenger.

p.s do i write "on" or "yes"?

They are new components, XP SP3 doesnt contains these ones.

Alternatively, you can also disable their installation listing the one you don't like installed in a Winnt.sif file, under [components] section, with an "= off" by their side. Here's an example of a Winnt.sif [components] section disabling ALL the optional components of Onepiece's AIO Pack. List only those you want to disable.

thanks for the info guys. If i don't want to create an unattended cd and only want to have the ability to select which of the new things in onepiece to install what info do i need in the winnt.sif file, can someone paste what text i need in it.

where is there info to say what each of these are:

WinRM = ?
PowerShell =
PowerShellISE = what is the difference between this and powershell
DirectX = i presume updates since 9.0c?
MDX = ?
MSXML4 = ?
IMAPI2 = ?
ICCDSCD = ?
WRMC = ?

well in the first topic you would find a remove tool which can remove from the pack the things you don't want

you will need to integrate them with Rvm intergator and it would do the rest

so you can leave the stuff you want only

no in I386 there is a file called winnt.sif

added under component section

and you don't need the on switch just the off lines

and if winnt.sif doesn't exist make it

i thought u said if i didn't want an unattended disc i wasn't to create a winnt.sif file? what info should be in the winnt.sif file so that it isn't an unattended cd but will stop some of the onepiece files from being installed?

should the .sif file only contain:

Does it have visual c++ 2005 and 2008 runtimes? thinking about integrating this .net 3.5 addon: http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7696 but it requires those runtimes.

No, integrate Microsoft Runtime Libraries 1.4.8 (32-bit) by code65536 or Kels' Runtimes v6 (not only Microsoft DLLs).

Apparently, Microsoft has "unreleased" the following update. nonno fabio says as much. Something must be wrong with the update.

In the OnePiece_KB975791_True_AddOn.cab addon are only 3 files "KB975791.CAT" "Entries_KB975791.ini" "notepad.exe"
MMM notepad.exe should fix a bug like this sure that there is no mixup ?

I also see that it is new Notepad version,
Standard Windows XP Notepad version is 5.1.2600.5512
KB975791 Notepad version is 5.1.2600.5877
Microsoft could at least say why the removed the KB grr Microsoft

This addon is messing up the Windows XP installation looks like the RVM Integrator limitation problem.
I have run RVM Integrator olny with this addon and include nothing else expect the update pack with nLite.

I have no problem to play AVI files with WMP11 if you have not installed a AVI codec try this one:

The specific remove addon has only 160-170 reglines, if you integrate it alone in a single RVMi session it wouldn't have any problem.

Anyone else have issues with this? Thanks for your replies.

The IE8 Rollback option doesn't work i get a error after Windows XP has restarted:
"The applocation has faild to start because iertutil.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
The explorer.exe will also not start also if you use the Task Manager to start explorer.exe it will not start the error will came up.

Like i say i have no problems to play AVI's can you play AVI's with other Players test Winamp Player and VLC Player if it works on VLC and not on Winamp then you have a codec problem and you should use the CodecPack i posted.

thank you for your post I exactly have problems with codecs. I installed Klite codec pack and now can play with mpc and wmp but before installing klite why cannot play?

Does this include latest version of WGAV?

All I see in release notes is:

1.7.0-081018: updated WGAV to v1.8.31.9

And I believe latest is now at 1.9.X

Also I installed this with Hidden's AIO .NET pack and did the WGAN removal, but after the install MSDiag.exe shows that the WGAV is not installed. This is on XP Pro VLK install. And only nLite is done at end and very few things are removed. No drivers since I am just testing.

AVI files runs without issues: are you sure your avi is not broken? test it again with a new integration of UpdatePack only using RVMi on a fresh XP SP3 source

Sorry for the delay: these are not bugs but the expected behavior.
The variable <next> is safer in this case; and [DeleteLinesWith] etc. is not related to the UpdatePack but to the removal of addon itself.
There's a reason if the option Management Framework Core is still in the Add and remove Windows Components. However you can easily modify it by extracting OPMWXPUP.inf from update pack and disabling this line:

I have tried with RVMi, 1.6.1 and 1.6, on a fresh XP SP3 source, nLite 1.4.9.1 on a fresh SP3 source, with addons, without addons, by removing components, without removing components, and every other type that you think. I'm sure that my avi files are not broken and easily run on every OS and computer even Linux and PSP.

Ok, I tried only the OnePiece update pack using RVMi latest beta from a fresh XP SP3 source (actually a clean fresh SP2 VLK with MS SP3 slipstreamed one which I have used in previous builds without issue). And the WGAV failed to install correctly.

Here is what I found. The LegitCheckControl.DLL file was there in system32 and was the latest version 1.9.0040.0 but no registry entries were made for it and the DLL was not registered. Once I did these steps manually the MSDiag.EXE (version 1.7.0069.0) showed my XP as genuine and MU worked from IE with no issues.

So the only thing extra I did was 4 removals and I followed the steps of doing them each in a separate run of RVMi and made sure I had the latest versions (verified the hashes)

Here are the removals, etc I did:

1) IE repair pack
2) OnePiece_Remove_Windows_Search_AddOn.cab
3) OnePiece_Disable_WGAN_AddOn.cab
4) OnePiece_Remove_BitLockerToGo_AddOn.cab

If so, try a test install of defender.msi.

What is defender.msi and how would it assist me?

The reason is that he's trying to force remove addons to fully work with Nlite too: Nlite often fails to apply this section:

@jfcarbel: in OPMWXPUP.inf under [Base.WgaNotify.AddReg] there's the regline registering LegitCheckControl.dll, actually working flawlessly.
Defender.msi is Windows Defender setup file. It verifies the genuinity of your system before install, so if Defender installs with no messages means that WGAV is correctly working
