Nice work user_hidden. I'm looking forward to your future packs.

don't know why the difference but superb that it has solved one of your errors.

Is there a reason why you have not included all Windows XP Updates ? Onepiece Update Pack has same Windows XP Update Fixes that this Update Pack doesn't have and i would love to use a other Update Pack because Onepiece's Update Pack gets way to mest-up.

if they were all the same what would be the point in having multiple releases by different people?

This Update Pack has only Windows Updates and Onepiece's Update Pack has Windows Updates and Extras Tools included. That gets also not installed if you would use the original .exe installer and this could do problems if you Update one of this tools like i had whit silverlite.

Onepiece has an excellent pack.
His route has been to include "everything under the sun" approach.

RyanVM, Xable, Redxii, 5eraph including myself have taken a different approach.

All of our updatepacks include all the WU updates. Onepiece goes further to include many request only and fixes for some things one may never require!

Not quite, this update pack contains more than just the regular WU updates. But if you don't like any of the available update packs, no one is keeping you from creating your own.

The updates you think are missing are available in other packs. No reason for u_h to mod his.

I am comparing user_hidden's addon and redxii's one, and I see that user_hidden's one is more complete, but misses out on 12 KB's that redxii includes...

This will mean that I will try to blend those two together in a pack for personal use and see what gives...
Man that is going to be some work... :?, but OK I'll learn from it I guess

[edit]
I am comparing the two, and some of the files mentioned in redxii's pack are already in yours, because the appropriate file version numbers are greater than the required one as described in the relevant M$ KB articles themselves
[/edit]
Good job!
Keep up the good work ;)

@mindwarper

you would have to see if there is a KB that is missing what it may be for
or why it was added to Redxii pack. just because Redxii or myself may have a KB included or not depends on if it applies to what we are trying to build.

there are many update packs to choose from it all depends on which suits what you are trying to build as a final product.

It would also be interesting, if you could perhaps include this KB hotfix as well, as now more and more people use relatively large sized external HDDs, then this KB would be helpful to have included as well:

KB955704:
KB955704 - Description of the exFAT file system driver update package

This is quite interesting now, as it allows formatting (external) storage >32GB in size.
To help you this KB has also a SP3QFE branch :)

If you decide not to include it in afutire release of your pack, then I respect it as well...
It was just a thought, keep up the good work for the rest!
