does anybody know how to remove Windows Search from a UpdatePack?

Hi all
First let me say that this is a great site alot of goodys here.
does anybody know how to remove Windows Search from a UpdatePack?
because I find it useless i prefer the original one i like UpdatePacks except for that 8)

Ummm try READING the first post of the addon (Onepiece provides ways of doing this.) ALSO tell us WHICH pack you refer to...

He gives instructions on how to disable by default the installation of certain components, in your case to turn off windows search (stop it from installing) by adding this to I386\WINNT.SIF

WDSearch = off
Here are all the other components you can turn off

WinRM = off
PowerShell = off
PowerShellISE = off
MicrosoftUpdate = off
Silverlight = off
DirectX = off
MDX = off
MSXML4 = off
WDSearch = off
IMAPI2 = off
ICCDSCD = off
WgaNotify = off
WRMC = off
BitLockerToGo = off
You can also uninstall it from Add/Remove Windows Components
