Well, i know copyright is protected very strictly in japan. but i don't know whether Mess-patched MSN breaks the law. anyone Japanese give me an answer. and if it really breaks the law, i'll remove mess-patch.

I don't believe the Mess-patch breaks copyright so much as it may violate Microsoft's End User Licensing Agreement. Most such agreements include a clause that reads, roughly: "User agrees not to decompile, reverse-engineer, or modify the program code." Mess-patch would clearly violate this, but perhaps not to the extent that Microsoft would be forced to act.

It has been a long time since I was bored enough to read through an entire EULA, so I may be completely off my rocker.
