:) Yes you're right, I know you great guys have been working on this project for a long time and release new versions every month, but what I meant was 'would you release new driver packs within next few days?'
I want to build a vista pack with latest update & driver packs for a friend within cpuple of days.

Thanks again

Thanks again
We cannot release any driverpacks if theres no new driver update is available. New Drivers are usually released every month, or more, so we release driverpacks every month, and sometimes we release minor update to driverpacks within a month for eg, audio 811 to 811.1 for this month.

Hope this makes sense to you now.

New driverpacks will be available next month. :D

EDIT:
I want to make next months driverpack release the best one. We vista's driverpack team are working very hard to make next months release the best release before the new year.

I have already removed duplicate drivers, organized all driver folders, and also added a changelog.txt file to all x86/x64 driverpacks folders as well.

If anybody thinks there are drivers missing that needs to be present in these packs, then please let us know or provide the drivers page link, so we can add them in next months driverpack release.

Thank you

can you share again Graphics_x64_811 pack? because geforce 7025 works good with 178.24 nvidia driver

Your right, the new g200 series drivers dont support few geforce 7 series cards eg, your geforce 7025/7050. Geforce 7 series drivers added to both x86/x64 driverpacks. Uploading nw....
Thanks for the feedback chaox2007

EDIT: UPDATED GRAPHICS X86/X64
FINISHED Uploading Graphics x86/x64 from 8.11.1 to 811.2. Thanks chaox2007, for your feedback. Its FIXED now, with your geforce 7025/7050 drivers present

See changelog for more details.

Note:
Next months new Driverpacks will be uploaded 12th/13th Dec 08

Thanks muiz. Their different drivers now, as the new nvidia g200 drivers dont support the old nvidia 7 series cards anymore.

This months driverpacks are looking EXTREMELY good.

- Added many drivers for new products and existing ones, that were not present before in the packs
- Updated many outdated drivers
- Removed duplicate drivers
- Added changelog for each driverpacks (very neat and professional looking logs..lol)
- Updating all OLD driverpacks to bring them upto date with version 8.12

All changes can be found in the log files thats been added.

DriverPacks will be uploaded on 12th/13th as am still working on it, and still needs testing before i upload

@jrxnelson
Sorry jrxnelson, but at this moment these driverpacks dont have a log except audio and graphics, so its very difficult to find out which drivers are present in the packs right now.

Wait till this months packs are uploaded most probably 12th/13th, and then you can suggest and leave feedbacks for the drivers.

Thank you

EDIT:
Driverpacks completed with major changes to almost all packs. Now just waiting for this months ATI/NVIDIA Drivers to come out, and then i will upload. Very likely it will be uploaded on 12th

Thanks Muiz&Shaded
(First, sorry for bad english)
I've downloaded your update packs&driver packs for x86 and 64 before. And I integrated all of them succesfully.(Only for x86)
Now, I've downloaded all updated packs.
I know how to integrate x86, no problem.
But I've some questions for X64:
1-)Should i have x64 CPU to integrate x64 update packs and driverpacks onto my vista sp1 dvd source?

2-)For X64 drivers, i have to edit driver.xml with notepad, i guess. I've read the document but couldn't understand...
Can you give an example with screenshots? Please.

3-)To reduce(small size) Vista source(after integration), could i remove some really useless components and OLD drivers with Vlite 1.2? When i delete drivers, will Vlite remove your updated drivers?

4-)I'm thinking about slipstream my x86 and x64 Vista source onto 1 dvd(4,5 gb). For example; X32 source: 2 gb, X64:2,5 gb. It will be nice.
OR for example X32 source: 2.5gb, X64 source: 3 gb. When i slipstream them onto 1 single layer DvD, will Waik compress them like cdimage or Nlite Iso compression? My source is Msdn Vista Sp1. Before slipstream onto 1 dvd, total filesize x64& x86 have to be max 4.5 gb?
And one more; To reduce size, which components to delete you prefer?
I know there is useless backup files in msdn Vista Sp1 source but which ones&files? With Vlite, or manuelly(during Vista-tool integration) which files&components should i remove? I dont want to have broken vista source. ( i can remove media files-dreamscenes doesnt deleted?- vista upgrade section, nature language support, voice control... Vista is very sensitive about deleting components-i souldnt have a fault)
You can answer question three sending me a private message. Please i need your help & experiences.
Use simple english speaking for me, please.(It's already simple but i wanted to say.)

Greetings from Turkey.

UPDATED ALL DRIVERPACKS

MAJOR changes has been made to this month Driverpacks. All driverpacks x86/x64 were Updated and added many NEW drivers.

I started working on this months (dec 2008) driverpacks last month first week of november (nov 2008). As muiz was and still very busy, i had to do all the packs myself. So please report any errors/mistakes eg typo. (even though i tested these packs, and found no errors) Thank you

Brief Changelog:
- Added NEW "Gaming" and "Webcam" for x86 Driver Packs
- Added NEW "Card Reader" for x64 Driver Packs
- Added many drivers for NEW products and existing ones, that were not present before in the packs
- Updated ALL outdated drivers
- Removed duplicate drivers
- Re-organized all drivers folder structure for easy updating of drivers in future
- Added changelog for each driverpacks (very neat and professional looking logs..)
- Updated almost all OLD driverpacks to bring them upto date with version 8.12 (current month)
Note:
Driver Packs that are NOT version 8.12, had no updates, so they remained the same version number.

Detailed changes can be found in the log files thats been added to each Driver Packs

All drivers are WHQL Certified.

Enjoy :D :P :D :D :D :D :)

To integrate x64 update packs, you will need to be on 64bit OS and ofcourse have a 64bit compatible cpu as well to install 64bit OS. To integrate drivers, you dont have to be on 64bit OS, you can slipstream drivers from 32bit OS
baris7seven wrote: 2-)For X64 drivers, i have to edit driver.xml with notepad, i guess. I've read the document but couldn't understand...

Its simple. If you want to slipstream x64 drivers , you will have to add the path to your x64 driver folder in the "DRIVERS.XML"
eg. The default "DRIVERS.XML" is

Code: Select all

<Path>I:\VistaWork\Vistax64Drivers</Path>
Open "DRIVERS.XML" with notepad and edit the "path" line
to werever your x64 drivers are located, example of my one

Code: Select all

<Path>C:\Vistax64Drivers</Path>
Its pretty simple see.
baris7seven wrote: 3-)To reduce(small size) Vista source(after integration), could i remove some really useless components and OLD drivers with Vlite 1.2? When i delete drivers, will Vlite remove your updated drivers?
Follow this step:
Integrate all updates/hotfixes first EXCEPT Drivers.
Remove whatever you want to remove with vlite, even drivers.
Then integrate these drivers with Vista-Tools.

Hope this helps.

Your question 4 cannot be discussed here, because this is a driverpack thread only. Please use the correct forum section for that particular question. Sorry..

Thanks for update! But driverpacks links are broken.. Please fix it.
I've an updated Vista Sp1 source. I hope my VGA (Onboard mobile intel Gma 950 on 945g chipset-support aero) driver will work with 8.12.1 pack. With 8.12, it wasn't installed. Also I've searhed in extracted folder and it couldn't find intel vga driver. But i see there is intel vga driver files.. So there was a problem. I installed the driver(GMA_1582.exe)myself. Is there anyone else repoted this? I hope to use 8.12.1 with no problem.
Thanks again Shaded and Muiz. Within driverpacks.net these packs will be much better.
