Extracted Vista DriverPacks, use with WAIK/Sysprep?

Post by Skillz » Mon Dec 01, 2008 4:32 am

I've allready created a 'barebone' baseline Vista image using WAIK, Sysprep (answer file created in WAIK) and Ghost.

Now I'd like to add the drivers from the driverpacks into my barebone image (most important MassStorage and Chipset drivers) and I'm wondering if it's possible to download those driverpacks, extract them and then add those folders into the sysprep answer file?

why add to a sysprep file? When you use sysprep , make it on the pc you are making it for and install all you want including drivers.
Or make a sysprep and slipstream them afterwards with Vista-Tool
