Request help in slipstreaming SP2 to a Windows Vista DVD

Post by SubZero » Sat Aug 01, 2009 4:43 pm

I have a Windows Vista DVD and would like to be able to slipstream that Vista DVD with Service Pack 2. But I cannot find any method of doing so in my google searches.

I have found how to slip SP1 with that Vista DVD but the program I found (Vista Update Integrator) does not work with SP2. vLite also does not work with SP2 now.

I would ask for help on accomplishing SP2 slipstreaming for Vista.

I have very good luck with RyanVM and XP and hope something can be done with it somehow. But I would take any help that would work.

Thank you

I have not found any way to slipstream SP2 into the Vista DVD. I had to get an original, new Vista DVD which already had SP2 slipstreamed. Overall I like Vista and Windows 7, and Office 2007, but this is one thing I don't like about them (assuming Windows 7 will be the same), that you can't slipstream service packs. Take care!

Thank you for reply

Here is what I used to make SP1 Vista Slipstream. It worked well:

RyanVM for XP and that program for Vista are a good pair.
