Windows 8 Beta version could arrive as soon as this summer.

WinRumor is reporting that Microsoft has started sending early
access invitation of Windows 8 pre-build to OEMs via their
Microsoft Connect program. The newly launched program named “Windows 8 and Server vNext Pre-Release Program”
provides download access to Windows 8 build 7971.0.110324-1900
to selected OEM partners via personalized access links which look like
http://connect.microsoft.com/site1094/I ... -XXXX-XXXX where XXX-XXXX-XXXX is the unique invitation code.

This new leaked build is said to be of Windows 8 Milestone 2 and it is rumored that Windows 8 Beta version could arrive as soon as this summer.

from what i've read final version wont be coming out until early 2013. the gui will probably be much different compared to early screenshots. or i hope so. this vista look is getting pretty stale

Explorer with Ribbon UI and I'm guessing Kinect style login/conlots...You sit down, it will recognize your face, it then logs you in and you can control your PC by moving your body (like in Minority Report)

Not that it really matters. From what I've seen, the people that have checked it out, even on the "warez" sites have said that it's so early and buggy not to bother. I guess it's just the curiosity and forbidden factor, and you know what happened to the cat...

And JIGSAW, Ryan's stance on "warez" has always been that if you want to provide a link to your own site where warez is discussed that's fine, but you can NOT provide any link of any kind to the file itself here.
