This installer gave me an error about the cd/dvd burning plugins being damaged and needing to reinstall itunes.
I had uninstalled both itunes and quicktime and installed quicktime 7.1 (new) separately first then your itunes installer. Same error.

Shark, I have RogueSpear's iTunes 6.0.4.2 which doesn't have Quicktime. He completely rebuilt the MSI file. There was a thread on MSFN by BoardBabe (search for threads by her in the Applications forum) and I do believe RogueSpear explained how he did it in that thread. His worked great. So if you ever get the desire to start this project again, you should talk to him about it. :)

Much to my dismay, I have friends and family who use this POS, so I'll probably try to make a new version at some point. But it's toward the bottom of my priority list.

I'm stuck using iTunes because none of the alternatives work well with the Shuffle :(
