help me please about reg file

i searching about this for whole day...how to add reg file after finish silent install? i tried and tried still cant get it please somebody tell me how to do it. i found this http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=79648#79648

RunProgram="hidcon:cmd /c \"regedit -s filename.reg\""

but this cant work for me...the reg file is that put together in 7z sfx??or?? please please teach me

That line:

is meant to be used in a 7-Zip switchless installer.

There are a couple tutorials in this forum that can guide you through the process:If you're having difficulty following either of these then upload your REG file and I'll make one for you.

i am using 7z swicthless install method

i have try this
RunProgram="regedit /s java.reg"
and this
RunProgram="hidcon:cmd /c \"regedit -s filename.reg\""

still cant work
can u tell me where to put the reg file ?is that put together with the installer file?or not ?

or using this command?

copy /b 7zs.sfx + config.txt +jax.reg + (whatever the archive name).7z (Installer_Name).exe

please help me i am try this for whole day still cant work please

OK here goes:

#1 the .reg file HAS to be inside the internal .7z file!
#2 Here is the config.txt I use...

RunProgram="jre6u7.msi /qn IEXPLORER=1 MOZILLA=1 SYSTRAY=0"

em i think i found what my problem , i am using wrong 7zs.sfx file can u point me to correct file?

ricktendo64 has the best guide for all 7z business including all the updated links! tips! tools! .etc! (thanks rick! ;) )

look for it in some guide section @ wincert ,only if i could find it for you with the link ... ;)
